Job Description

  • Inputs data in a timely manner into a computer system
  • Verifies accuracy of data inputted into the computer system by other data entry clerks
  • Prepares data for computer entry by compiling and sorting info; establishing entry priorities
  • Enters customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies; resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution
  • Answering calls from customers, patients, facilites and other healthcare providers
  • Tier 1 and some tier 2 support and troubleshooting
  • Reporting issues, complaints and errors in a timely manner to management
  • Following-up with patients, facilites, customers, other healthcare providers and management when necessary
  • Display a professional demeanor at all times

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of data entry experience required
  • Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills required
  • Data entry keying 8,000 plus keystrokes preferred
  • Highly self-motivated and well organized
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and thoroughness required
  • Committed to customer focus and operational excellence
  • Must work well within a team environment
  • Pharmacy technician experience is a plus
  • Pioneer Software experience is a plus
